CF CANZUK joins Chagos protest

Elliott Malik, Director of the Conservative Friends of CANZUK, joined the protest against the government’s plans to give away the British Indian Ocean Territory to Mauritius today. Elliott was humbled to stand alongside proud Chagossians and their families who want to remain British.

This deal is terrible for the Chagossians, risks our national security, and would imperil the Chagos Marine Protected Area. The BIOT is key to CANZUK, being the most strategically important military base on earth. We would be foolish to give it away.
